"Frederic, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well and thank you." - Dave Kruger, 196th LIB. 66-67
This is Rick his Freshman year
Rick was a member of the ski club, track team and assembly club during his senior year. His Junior year, he was a delagate on the class officers, and helped establish the Seaholm Varsity Club Hall of Fame
Pictured on the left is Folk group Peter, Paul, and Mary. They were one of the most prominent folk groups during the 60's. This is a concert held at Seaholm set up by the Assembly club, of which Gost was part. One can imagine that must have been the most popular assembly at Seaholm. Paul Stookey attended Birmingham High School and graduated in 1955. The group influenced the name of the AC-47 Spooky gunship, more commonly known as Puff The Magic Dragon, the name of one of their popular songs. It is interesting to imagine what the Seaholm students were thinking while listening to this anti-war group, considering the class of 65 Maples had the most Vietnam soldiers and deaths.
